Never Stop Learning: 4 Books to Add to Your Holiday Wishlist
Personal and professional growth is so darn important to building a life and business you love. Never Stop Learning is a core pillar of my business and something I shout from the rooftops - but the reality is, that it is easier said than done. It can be challenging to find time to prioritize learning more. For me, this past year my perfect combination was podcasts, books and working with a coach. Here are some of my favorite books you will want to add to your holiday wishlist this year!
The E Myth Revisited by Michael E. Gerber
Hands down the first book I recommend to anyone starting their own company or at a turning point in their business. It’s a book I read every year as a reminder to figure out your role as you work in and on your business. To focus your time on where is best for you and your business and to hire out the parts you need to.
Good news - it’s available on Audiobook, Kindle, in Paper back & Hardcover.
Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself Hardcover by Nedra Glover Tawwab
Are you a recovering people pleaser too?!? Ugh, my need for approval and people pleasing often gets in the way of how I would like to serve my clients, how I would like to leave work at work and so much more. I highly recommend this book if you to find boundaries challenging.
Good news - it’s also available on Audiobook, Kindle, in Paperback & Hardcover
How to Listen with Intention by Patrick King
So much of our job has to do with listening well. While I think this is something I am pretty good at, I know there is always room for improvement. I’ve recently noticed that I have a tendency to listen until I have my answer rather than fully listening and pausing to add context, emotion, patience and so much more. I just started this one and I can tell it’s going to be so helpful!
Good news - it’s also available on Audiobook, Kindle, in Paperback & Hardcover
Happy Reading!
